What happened: Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Poona Ford is out for the season with a triceps injury. Coach Sean McVay disclosed the injury Monday, as reported by Mike Garafolo.

Why it matters: Ford is a ninth-year interior defender out of Texas. His absence further depletes a Rams front with Kobie Turner also headed to injured reserve with a groin injury.

By the numbers: Ford played 17 games for the Rams in 2025, recording 47 tackles and 2 sacks. Turner added 48 tackles, 7 sacks and 1 interception across 17 games in 2025.

What to watch: The Rams will need to backfill interior-line snaps ahead of Week 7. A corresponding injured-reserve move should follow.
