What happened: Los Angeles Rams placed kicker Blake Grupe on injured reserve. The designation removes their current kicker from the active roster.

Why it matters: Losing a kicker to reserve forces Los Angeles to find its next option at a specialist spot with little margin for disruption. The timing pressures the Rams to stabilize the position to protect close-game operations.

What to watch: Watch for Los Angeles to add a kicker to the active roster. Availability for the next game depends on who signs.
