Remains on IR while window opens

#Vikings RB Jordan Mason has been designated for return. His practice window opens, though he’s still on IR. Via @RapSheet on X

What happened: Minnesota designated Mason for return from injured reserve. He remains on injured reserve while the window is open.

Why it matters: The designation allows practice without an immediate move to the active roster. It preserves roster flexibility while Mason ramps up.

What to watch: Activation is required before he can play again.
