What happened: Los Angeles ruled out Aaron Donald, Jaylen Watson and Terrance Ferguson for Sunday's game against Philadelphia. Donald is dealing with a back injury, while Watson and Ferguson had already carried doubtful designations into the week.

Why it matters: Donald and Watson thin the Rams at defensive tackle and cornerback, and Ferguson shortens the tight end rotation. It is another test for the Rams' defensive overhaul in a conference matchup with the Eagles.

What to watch: The next question is how Los Angeles redistributes snaps at defensive tackle, cornerback and tight end once the full inactive list is set Sunday.
