What happened: The Toronto Raptors have signed Nate Bittle to a two-way contract. The move converts his camp deal into a two-way roster spot ahead of the regular season.

Why it matters: Toronto previously waived center Trey Jemison to vacate a second two-way opening and create roster flexibility. By filling one spot with Bittle, the Raptors still keep their remaining two-way slot open as roughly 100 players are expected to be cut across the league.

What to watch: Toronto will monitor the league-wide waiver wire to fill its final two-way spot before the home opener in four days.
