Pretty significant. Via @RapSheet on X

What happened: Madubuike passed his physical July 29 after undergoing neck surgery and has participated on a limited basis. Baltimore’s roster decision preserves his eligibility for the opening four games of 2026.

Why it matters: An injured-reserve designation would have required a minimum four-game absence. The Ravens retain flexibility with a key piece of their interior pass rush.

By the numbers: Madubuike is a two-time Pro Bowler who has been sidelined since Week 2 of the 2025 season.

What to watch: His practice participation and status for the season opener are the next markers to watch.
