What happened: Baltimore cleared veteran receiver the same Chris Moore who added another catch to his highlight reel from the active roster. Xavier Guillory was released from the practice squad in a separate move. Moore had been elevated from the practice squad Sept. 12.

Why it matters: Moore entered the league as Baltimore's fourth-round pick at No. 107 in 2016 out of Cincinnati. He caught 11 passes for 207 yards and one touchdown in 14 games with the Commanders in 2025. Guillory, out of Arizona State, is in his first NFL season.

By the numbers: Chris Moore, 2025 with Commanders: 14 games, 11 receptions, 207 yards, 1 TD. Draft: 2016 Round 4, No. 107, Cincinnati. Xavier Guillory: first NFL season, Arizona State.

What to watch: Baltimore's open receiver spots and upcoming practice-squad additions will show how it backfills depth.
