What happened: Ja'Kobi Lane is expected to practice four weeks after wrist surgery. Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport shared the expected return. Lane impressed in Baltimore's camp and was in line for a sizable early role.

Why it matters: Baltimore's receiver depth thinned after the release of veteran Chris Moore. Lane's return would put a camp riser back into that rotation.

What to watch: Listed practice participation and end-of-week game status are next.
