What happened: Reggie Cannon celebrated his 28th birthday on June 11 as Major League Soccer continues its month-long pause for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The club marked the defender's milestone with a lighthearted social media engagement post during the league-wide hiatus.

Why it matters: Cannon has been a consistent presence in the defensive rotation this season, making six appearances after recovering from a spring ankle injury. The Rapids currently sit 11th in the Western Conference with 16 points and will look to climb into the top nine playoff spots when play resumes in late July.

What to watch: The club will resume regular-season play in late July following the conclusion of the World Cup in North America.
