What happened: New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson and defensive tackle Christian Barmore are expected to play against the Las Vegas Raiders. Stevenson had been dealing with a knee issue, while Barmore was managing a shoulder injury.

Why it matters: Their availability provides a lift for a New England team looking to improve on a 3-4 start. Stevenson remains a key offensive piece, even as the Patriots weighed a backfield split following a fumble last month.

By the numbers: The Patriots enter the contest as with an 5. Last season, Stevenson ran for 603 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games, while Barmore recorded two sacks in 17 appearances.

What to watch: Official inactive lists will be released 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
