What happened: Rhyne Howard officially moved into fourth place on the Atlanta Dream’s all-time scoring leaderboard during Friday’s matchup against the New York Liberty. Howard reached the milestone after scoring her 20th point of the night, surpassing former standout Sancho Lyttle. The achievement came in a 104-90 loss to the Liberty at Gateway Center Arena.

Why it matters: The milestone continues a record-breaking season for Howard, who remains the foundational star for the Dream. Despite her individual performance, Atlanta fell to 9-5 on the season as New York extended their winning streak to six games. Howard’s rapid climb up the franchise rankings underscores her impact since being drafted first overall in 2022.

What to watch: Atlanta looks to snap their one-game skid in their next outing. Howard now trails Erika de Souza by 223 points for third place on the franchise's all-time scoring list.
