What happened: Howard detailed how her close off-court friendship with Hillmon directly translates into their shared execution on the floor during the 2026 championship series. The duo returns to action in the sixth game of the title round with national coverage streaming on Peacock alongside the television broadcast.

Why it matters: Established chemistry between core rotation pairings carries heightened value late in a Finals series once opponents have scouted primary sets across five games. Hillmon, who converted through transition contact earlier this postseason, provides interior physicality alongside Howard's perimeter creation.

What to watch: Game 6 of the 2026 WNBA Finals tips off Thursday, Oct. 29 at 12:30 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.
