What happened: Perez exited Wednesday night's game after his right elbow flared up again.

Why it matters: Perez returned July 5 after soreness in the same elbow kept him out for three consecutive games. The recurrence puts his immediate lineup availability in question.

By the numbers: Perez went 1-for-2 with one RBI before exiting.

What to watch: His status for the next game will hinge on a follow-up evaluation.
