What happened: Houston gathered for its official photo Wednesday during its Macao trip for the NBA China Games 2026. The visit opens on court Friday at 8 a.m. ET on NBA TV.

Why it matters: The two-game Macao slate gives Houston neutral-site minutes to settle rotation combinations before the 2026-27 season. The appearances also serve as the league's return showcase in the market.

What to watch: The opener tips Friday morning, with the rematch closing the trip Sunday.
