What happened: Roquan Smith continues to showcase high-level range by undercutting intermediate routes and challenging tight passing lanes over the middle of the field. His closing speed nearly generated another turnover against a ball delivered into traffic. The play highlights how difficult it remains for opposing passers to clear him in coverage.

Why it matters: Smith posted 130 tackles in 15 games last season, proving that his tackling volume is matched by elite processing. Very few linebackers possess the spatial awareness to shrink passing windows while remaining an anchor against the run. That complete skillset makes him the standard at the position.
