What happened: Yahoo Sports analyst Ross Dellenger stated on the College Football Enquirer podcast that he expects Auburn to 18 LSU on Saturday. Both programs head into the conference matchup navigating midweek roster adjustments.

Why it matters: Auburn is retooling its defensive rotation after dismissing linebacker Xavier Atkins following his suspension against Georgia. LSU enters at No. 18 in the national rankings after leaving tight end Trey'Dez Green off its availability list earlier this week.

By the numbers: Xavier Atkins logged 37 tackles and three sacks across five games this fall prior to his dismissal, while Auburn held a 17-14 halftime lead in its win over top-ranked Georgia.

What to watch: Auburn and No. 18 LSU kick off Saturday with SEC standings positioning on the line.
