What happened: Sacramento opens Saturday night's preseason matchup with a heavily revised first unit. Rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr. will take the floor alongside veteran additions Ben Simmons and Zach LaVine. Keegan Murray and Precious Achiuwa round out the frontcourt for the exhibition contest.

Why it matters: The exhibition provides an initial look at the revamped rotation. Simmons, operating on a one-year deal and listed as a guard, steps into a new perimeter role. The inclusion of Acuff allows the organization to evaluate the recent draft pick immediately against NBA competition.

What to watch: The rotation will face further adjustments as the regular season approaches.
