Why it matters: The alignment continues Sacramento's preseason pairing of Simmons and LaVine ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Starting Acuff Jr. gives the first-year guard extended reps alongside the veteran frontcourt of Sabonis and Murray.

What to watch: Sacramento will finalize its regular-season rotation before the 2026-27 opener.
