What happened: The New Orleans Saints and Paris Saint-Germain announced a partnership on Oct. 20. The move precedes the NFL staging its first regular-season game in France.

Why it matters: It pairs an NFL club with an established Paris soccer brand at the point of league entry into France. The timing ties the business side directly to game week in a new market.

What to watch: Details on joint activations and the France game schedule remain to follow.
