What happened: Deshaun Watson sits at 96 pressured dropbacks and Dak Prescott at 91 in PFF's Oct. 20 tally. Tyler Shough rose from 89 on Oct. 13 to 97, pulling even with Bryce Young.

Why it matters: Prescott carried a 4,552-yard, 30-touchdown workload across 17 games in 2025 with the Cowboys. Herbert carried a 3,727-yard, 26-touchdown load across 16 games in 2025 with the Chargers, making repeat pressure a timing burden.

By the numbers: Herbert 99; Young 97; Shough 97; Watson 96; Prescott 91. Gap first to fifth: 8. Young 2025: 3,011 yards, 23 TD, 11 INT; Prescott 2025: 4,552 yards, 30 TD, 10 INT; Herbert 2025: 3,727 yards, 26 TD, 13 INT.

What to watch: Next week's protection matchups determine whether the eight-dropback gap widens or compresses.
