What happened: The New Orleans Saints highlighted Jonas Sanker on the team's Gold Sessions podcast alongside this week's Quick Sips segment. New Orleans selected Sanker in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft with the 93rd overall pick out of Virginia.

Why it matters: Sanker, who earlier this season led the NFL with 19 solo tackles without a miss, has carved out a regular defensive role. The Saints entered their bye week following a 16-10 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 25, subsequently parting ways with run game coordinator T.J. Paganetti.

What to watch: New Orleans returns to action on Nov. 8 against the Cleveland Browns. The organization also approaches the league's Nov. 10 trade deadline at 4 p.m. ET.
