What happened: New Orleans Saints rookie Jordyn Tyson returned to practice Wednesday after spending the first half of the season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. The team opened his ramp-up period as he works toward making his regular-season debut.

Why it matters: New Orleans selected Tyson eighth overall in the 2026 draft out of Arizona State to bolster an offense that managed 10 points in a 16-10 loss to Pittsburgh on Oct. 25. His return to the field gives the Saints a primary receiving weapon as they prepare for the second half of the season.

What to watch: The coaching staff will monitor his progress in drills this week before deciding when to activate him to the 53-man roster.
