What happened: New Orleans honored Alvin Kamara with a 'Legendary' salute paired with a French flag. The salute followed his UCL Today appearance for a football-soccer crossover.

Why it matters: Kamara remains the longest-tenured offensive centerpiece since his 2017 third-round arrival from Tennessee. His continuity matters for a 1-4 New Orleans roster fielding trade speculation around other veterans.

By the numbers: Kamara ran 131 times for 471 yards and 1 touchdown in 11 games in 2025. Drafted 67th overall in 2017 out of Tennessee.

What to watch: New Orleans visits the New York Giants in Week 6. Kamara's workload bears watching as the Saints sort the backfield.
