What happened: New Orleans acquired Polk from New England for future considerations in September 2025. His only NFL game action came during his 2024 rookie season.

Why it matters: The move ends the career of a former second-round pick before he played a game for New Orleans. It also opens a spot on the Saints' preseason roster.

By the numbers: Polk played 15 games, started seven and caught 12 passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.

What to watch: New Orleans can use the vacancy to evaluate another receiver during the preseason.
