What happened: Mickey Loomis said Tyson will sit out practice all week. Loomis added Tyson, who exited an August practice, is improving and the team is encouraged by his progress.

Why it matters: Tyson's continued absence removes the No. 8 overall pick from game-plan installation. His availability shapes the Saints' receiver rotation moving forward.

What to watch: The next step is whether Tyson progresses to limited or full work next week.
