What happened: Mickey Loomis said Tyson is improving and the team is encouraged by his progress and getting closer. The rookie traveled to Paris for Week 7 while on injured reserve since Aug. 31.

Why it matters: A first-round pick missing October practice time misses development work during the regular season. Loomis gave the update during Paris media availability ahead of Week 7.

What to watch: The next practice report will show if Tyson rejoins teammates on the field.
