32nd homer and 109th RBI for Sal Stewart https://t.co/OlsijNLeh6

What happened: Stewart pushed his season totals to 32 home runs and 109 RBIs.

Why it matters: It comes after Stewart became MLB's first 100-RBI hitter of 2026 on Aug. 26. He was at 105 RBIs by Aug. 31, so the production has kept climbing into mid-September.

By the numbers: Stewart has added nine RBIs since Aug. 26 and four since Aug. 31, based on prior Wire Report coverage.

What to watch: Watch whether Stewart keeps adding to that RBI total over the final stretch of the regular season.
