What happened: Adam Schefter (@RapSheet) tweeted 'Follow @TomPelissero for all your UDFA needs' as the 2026 NFL Draft concluded with the Broncos selecting LB Red Murdock at No. 257. Early UDFA reports include Georgia Tech QB Haynes King signing with the Panthers for $250,000 guaranteed and Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar with the Jaguars.

Why it matters: UDFA signings fill out rookie rosters with potential hidden gems for the 2026 season training camps. Competitive guarantees like King's deal signal intense bidding among teams seeking depth at premium positions. These moves set early practice squad battles ahead of OTAs.
