What happened: The coaching staff reunited Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele, and Gabriel Vilardi on the same forward unit during morning preparations. The move addresses an attack held without a goal in a 7-0 defeat against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Why it matters: Winnipeg seeks offensive traction after being blanked by Carolina and struggling to generate sustained pressure. Returning the combination together restores familiar chemistry as the club aims to reset its attack on the road.

What to watch: The reunited combination takes the ice in Montreal as Winnipeg aims to rebound.
