What happened: The Ottawa Senators announced Drake Batherson and Tim Stützle as co-winners of the team Golden Skate Award for October. The presentation came via Canada Gold following their goal production over the month.

Why it matters: Both forwards anchor Ottawa's forward group as the team navigates early regular-season play. The recognition comes after Batherson moved past Radek Bonk on the team scoring list.

What to watch: Ottawa continues its regular-season slate into November as both forwards look to sustain their scoring pace.
