What happened: The Seahawks sent a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-rounder for a Pro Bowl guard. General manager John Schneider could make another deal before the deadline.

Why it matters: Seattle holds the eighth playoff seed, and its run blocking remains a concern. Another addition would cost more draft capital after the guard deal.

By the numbers: Seattle's running backs have gained 92 yards before contact on 184 carries and have been stopped for no gain or a loss 37 times.

What to watch: Seattle plays Monday night, giving Schneider another game to assess the roster before Nov. 10.
