What happened: MMA analyst Sean Sheehan publicly criticized former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt following comments regarding defender Lisandro Martinez. Butt questioned Martinez celebrating with an Argentina flag while playing in England. Sheehan responded directly to the remarks, calling Butt "one of them dumbest human beings on earth.

Why it matters: Martinez won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina shortly after joining Manchester United, frequently displaying the national flag during subsequent celebrations. Butt made over 380 appearances for Manchester United and previously served as the club's head of first-team development.

What to watch: Manchester United continues its domestic schedule as Martinez remains a primary starter in central defense.
