Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook are working on their tennis swings in retirement… and Shai had thoughts 😅 (Via: cp3/IG

What happened: Paul and Russell Westbrook worked on their swings during an offseason outing. It followed their recent time together on the water.

Why it matters: The exchange has no effect on the upcoming 2026-27 season. It marks a light post-career chapter for two longtime NBA point guards.

By the numbers: Paul retired after 21 NBA seasons; Westbrook retired after 18.

What to watch: A match depends on whether Paul takes up Shai's challenge.
