What happened: Sonia Citron was named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career. The Washington Mystics guard averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists across Week 6.

Why it matters: The honor marks a career milestone for Citron and signals a rising two-way role in Washington's backcourt. Consistent scoring and playmaking at this level strengthen the Mystics' rotation as the season progresses.

What to watch: Watch whether Citron sustains the scoring jump and expanded usage as Washington moves deeper into the schedule.
