What happened: Malaki Starks praised his former Georgia offensive coordinator for his mind for play-calling. The remark came ahead of Baltimore's regular-season matchup with Cleveland in the 2026 season.

Why it matters: The Georgia connection underscores the college-to-NFL pipeline shaping Baltimore's roster. Familiarity with pro-style play-calling concepts adds context to Starks' defensive reads against AFC North opposition.

What to watch: Attention now turns to the Ravens-Browns matchup and how that preparation shows up on the field.
