What happened: The Pittsburgh Steelers signed quarterback Drew Allar, their third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, to a four-year rookie contract. Allar was selected at No. 76 overall.

Why it matters: Allar's signing fills out Pittsburgh's quarterback room ahead of training camp, coming as the team also weighed the pick against a pursuit of Aaron Rodgers. One more Steelers draft pick remains unsigned heading into camp.

By the numbers: Allar was Pittsburgh's third-round selection, No. 76 overall, in the 2026 NFL Draft.

What to watch: Watch for the Steelers to finalize their last unsigned rookie contract before training camp opens.
