What happened: Atlanta Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski said Zachariah Branch's return-team role will stay the same. The decision follows back-to-back ball-security issues in the return game.

Why it matters: Keeping the same returner preserves continuity in field position and personnel. It extends the staff's public backing during a difficult stretch for the No. 79 draft pick.

What to watch: Atlanta's next game will show whether Branch handles the full return workload throughout.
