What happened: Falcons coach Stefanski dismissed talk and t-shirt slogans when addressing his club's identity on Sunday. He said a team can talk about who it is until it is blue in the face, but only on-field execution establishes it.

Why it matters: The message comes as Stefanski pushes the Falcons to translate practice execution into results after dropping two straight games. Atlanta is navigating a lengthy injury report while trying to climb back toward .500 in the NFC.

What to watch: Atlanta hosts the 49ers with cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. activated from injured reserve and carrying no injury designation.
