What happened: The Atlanta Falcons have 29 points to 20 points for the San Francisco 49ers while the regular-season matchup remains in progress. Per Field Yates, a San Francisco loss leaves the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs as the lone NFL clubs without a loss this season.

Why it matters: San Francisco entered the afternoon near the top of the NFC standings alongside Minnesota, making the conference contest pivotal for early positioning. Atlanta entered the matchup on a skid and looks to halt that slide against a contender while Kansas City paces the AFC.

What to watch: Atlanta and San Francisco will play out the closing stages of the contest before turning to their upcoming regular-season schedules.
