What happened: Steph and Draymond Green worked together on the floor as the Golden State Warriors held their open practice in front of a home crowd. The session followed the franchise's decision on Saturday to waive Alex Toohey, Tyler Burton, and Dalen Terry to pare down the preseason roster.

Why it matters: The workout offers a final preseason look at Golden State's core as Steve Kerr plans to tie Green's rotation minutes directly to Steph Curry in 2026-27. Golden State also secured its backcourt rotation on Oct. 10 by signing Brandin Podziemski to a five-year, $110 million extension carrying an $18.9 million first-year salary.

What to watch: The 2026-27 NBA regular season tips off in three days, followed by the start of NBA Cup play on Oct. 30.
