What happened: The Golden State Warriors welcomed DubNation fans to home court for an open practice session in partnership with Waymo. The event caps the franchise's preseason calendar following Golden State's Las Vegas Summer League schedule in June.

Why it matters: The fan session follows Golden State's decision to waive three camp players on Oct. 17 while trimming its roster toward regular-season limits. NBA regular-season play opens Oct. 20, with league-wide NBA Cup action scheduled to begin Oct. 30.

What to watch: Golden State will lock in its opening-week rotation and final active roster ahead of regular-season tipoff.
