What happened: High school girl athletes from around Seattle participated in Session 5 of Storm Academy, presented by Delta Dental of Washington. The session centered on a hands-on Dental Careers Discovery program, with Delta Dental presenting a $5,000 check.

Why it matters: The program paired youth basketball development with exposure to dental career paths. Youth outreach remains a regular part of Storm Academy programming in Seattle.

What to watch: Attention turns to dates and themes for the next Storm Academy session.
