What happened: Strasbourg have agreed a deal to sign Swedish striker Benjamin Brantlind from IFK Gothenburg, according to Fabrizio Romano. The report says multiple clubs were in the race before Brantlind chose Strasbourg and the BlueCo project.

Why it matters: The move continues BlueCo’s youth-heavy recruitment model, with Strasbourg positioned as a development platform inside the wider ownership group. Earlier reports said Brantlind had six months left on his IFK Gothenburg contract, giving the Swedish club incentive to complete a summer sale rather than risk losing him later.

What to watch: Watch for club confirmation, contract length and whether Brantlind joins Strasbourg immediately or follows a staged development plan.
