What happened: The sacrifice fly opened the scoring and moved Los Angeles ahead 1-0 early in the first inning. Hernández said the club's approach with runners on has not been as sound as with bases empty.

Why it matters: Los Angeles entered leaning heavily on home runs in the playoffs. A productive out with runners on offered an early counter to that trend with Milwaukee ahead 1-0 in the series.

What to watch: Watch whether Los Angeles continues to manufacture runs with runners on through the middle innings.
