What happened: The Houston Texans signed defensive tackle Naquan Jones on Monday. The move adds depth to the defensive front after the 49ers released him in October.

Why it matters: Jones brings interior defensive line experience to Houston during the 2026 regular season. The seventh-year lineman has spent time across multiple rosters this fall, including stints in Minnesota and San Francisco.

What to watch: Jones joins the active group ahead of Houston's upcoming game-week preparations.
