What happened: CBS Sports and On3 also confirmed that Goosby's 2026 college football campaign is over following the knee injury.

Why it matters: Losing a premier blindside tackle midseason forces Texas to reshuffle its offensive line protection for the rest of the regular-season slate. The season-ending injury also halts on-field evaluation for one of the highest-graded offensive linemen in the upcoming draft class.

What to watch: Texas will adjust its depth chart at left tackle ahead of its next regular-season matchup while Goosby shifts toward medical recovery.
