What happened: Tiffany Hayes spotted an opening in the lane and powered to the rim for an interior finish during the GSV-ATL Game 3 matchup. The drive drew contact at the basket for a three-point play during the 8 p.m. ET national broadcast on USA Network and Peacock.

Why it matters: Interior scoring from the same Tiffany Hayes who consistently finished through contact earlier in the postseason push gives the offense a reliable half-court counter in the 2026 WNBA Finals. After converting a turnover into a perimeter basket in Game 1, her downhill rim pressure forces the defense to collapse inside during Game 3 of Season 30.

What to watch: The GSV-ATL championship series continues as both offenses battle for paint control through the remainder of the 2026 WNBA Finals.
