What happened: The Detroit Tigers are on the road at Globe Life Field with first pitch scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET on Thursday. The game airs on Detroit Sports Network, with radio coverage on 97.1 The Ticket.

Why it matters: Detroit arrives with its starting rotation in a clear groove, an edge that matters during a compressed summer stretch. Length from the starters has kept the bullpen fresh and given the club stability heading into the series.

What to watch: Watch the early innings for whether the rotation's run of length and low-hit outings continues in the hitter-friendly Arlington ballpark.
