What happened: Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 to even the second-round series at 2-2. The win sends the matchup back to San Antonio for a pivotal Game 5. Edwards dedicated the performance to his late mother on Mother's Day.

Why it matters: A 2-2 reset flips the series from a potential 3-1 hole into a best-of-three with home court back in San Antonio's hands. Edwards' Game 4 outing reinforces his status as Minnesota's closer and shifts pressure onto Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, who lost Game 4 after a Wembanyama ejection.

What to watch: Game 5 tips in San Antonio with the Spurs needing a home response and Minnesota looking to steal a road win to take a 3-2 lead. Watch Wembanyama's status and foul discipline after his Game 4 ejection.
