The Minnesota Timberwolves are trading Josh Green and cash to the Utah Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar, sources Via @ShamsCharania on X

What happened: Cash will accompany Green to Utah, sources told ESPN. Green joined Minnesota earlier this offseason in a four-team deal.

Why it matters: The exchange moves Green before Minnesota's Saturday waive-and-stretch deadline. Minnesota sought a lower-salary return to create roughly $3 million in room while preserving a roster spot.

What to watch: League processing and corresponding roster moves come next.
